With Serena Williams wrapping up the Grand Slam season as the champion of the US Open and only two months of regular season play anticipation for the TEB BNP Paribas WTA Championships is beginning to mount.
This year the WTA Championships will be held from October 22nd – 27th and wrap up it’s 3rd and final year at the Sinan Erdem Dome in the fifth-largest city in the world, Istanbul, Turkey.

It’s that time of year again. With the Grand Slam season having come to a close and today marking the first day of fall, we’re well on our way to wrapping up the 2013 tennis season.
However, no season would be complete without the Barclays ATP World Tour Finals, which this year will be held from November 4th-11th at the 02 Arena located in London, England.

Andy Murray Set To Undergo Back Surgery

This year’s Wimbledon champ, 26-year-old Andy Murray, is set to undergo back surgery on Monday, September 23, 2013.
For the past few years, Murray has been battling what appears to have been varying degrees of back pain. Earlier this year in May, his challenges with back pain forced him to pull out of the French Open. However, this ultimately allowed him to rest and prep for Wimbledon, where he’d go on to defeat Novak Djokovic for his second Grand Slam title.
