Five Point Friday
Here’s your roundup of the five most interesting things I’m enjoying or thinking about this week.
1.) Tennis Is Life
As a thank you to those who made the return of tennis possible in 2020, the ATP and WTA have released a short film titled, “Tennis is Life.”
2.) Unraveling Athena
Looking for something to watch over the holidays? Unraveling Athena: The Champions of Women’s Tennis is a documentary that showcases insight into top WTA athletes’ minds and what it takes to make a champion.
3.) The Paire Minimum
Benoit Paire writes an essay for Racquet Magazine, which gives a candid behind the scene look into how he thinks about tennis, approaches the sport, and what’s important to him. I thought it was an excellent read.
4.) Best Shots in 2020
The ATP has pulled together their picks for best shots in 2020. Although it was an abbreviated season, there was still plenty of exceptional shot-making. What do you think of their selection?
5.) Worst Shots in 2020
To balance things out, here’s a recap of the ATPs worst shots this year. I think I had more fun watching this highlight reel – perhaps because it’s easier to relate :) Either way, I hope you enjoy it!
If you have a moment, I’d love to hear your feedback. Which topic is your favorite? What would you like to see more or less of each week?
Share your thoughts in the comments below and have a great weekend.
