Five Point Friday

Here’s your roundup of the five most interesting things I’m enjoying or thinking about this week.

1.) Serena’s Return

On Tuesday, Wimbledon announced Serena William’s acceptance of a wild card for her 21st appearance at The Championships. Right around the same time, Serena dropped a hint as well. She hasn’t competed since Wimbledon last year, when she injured her leg in the first round. Before Wimbledon, she’ll play doubles with Ons Jabeur in Eastbourne, England, as a warm-up.

2.) Arthur Ashe in Pictures

Ahead of their new film, Citizen Ashe, set to air this Sunday, June 26, at 9 pm ET/PT, CNN published a series of photos showcasing Arthur Ashe’s life. It’s an excellent collection that’s well worth a quick look. You can also catch the trailer for the new film below.
