Five Point Friday

Here’s your roundup of the five most interesting things I’m enjoying or thinking about this week.

1.) Black Lives Matter

On May 25, George Floyd’s life was taken under tragic circumstances, which has evoked a wave of unprecedented activism and unity against racism and inequality. In tennis, athletes have shared stories, raised awareness, and encouraged action, so I’ve pulled together a handful to help spread their message further.

2.) Reviewing Djokovic’s Shoes

The Asics Court FF 2 is Novak Djokovic’s model and one of the best tennis shoes on the market, but they’re not perfect. Find out what makes it a great shoe and areas for improvement as I put this pair through its paces.

3.) 10 Weirdest Match Interruptions

Now and then, tennis matches are interrupted in weird and unexpected ways. In this compilation, they’ve saved the best for last – my favorite is #2. You’ll have to see #1 to believe it.

4.) Djokovic Tennis at 4 Years Old

This week, an old video clip of Novak Djokovic playing tennis in 1991 as a four-year-old made the rounds.

5.) Muguruza Chats with Ledecky

In an ongoing series from adidas, two-time Grand Slam champion, Garbiñe Muguruza, and five-time gold medalist in swimming, Katie Ledecky, catch up to ask each other questions and chat about their respective sports.

If you have a moment, I’d love to hear your feedback. Which topic is your favorite? What would you like to see more or less of each week?
