Here’s your roundup of the five most interesting things I’m enjoying or thinking about this week.

1.) Best Tennis Shoes 2020

I’ve pulled together my top picks for the best men’s and women’s tennis shoes in 2020. With some signs of restrictions slowly beginning to ease around COVID-19, right now might be a great time to pick up your next pair.

2.) Top 10 On-Court ATP Arguments

Generally, tennis is a pretty tame sport, but now and then things get heated. This week, the ATP digs up their picks for the top 10 on-court arguments.

3.) Agassi Reaches Level 50

On Wednesday, Andre Agassi turned 50, and the tennis world showed up to wish him a happy birthday. Long time coach, Brad Gilbert, shared some memories to celebrate.

4.) Live Pro Tennis This Weekend

Tennis has been on hold for nearly two months, but Tennis Channel is bringing it back with live matches happening May 1-4 in Germany. The Tennis Point Exhibition Series will feature eight men’s players in a 32-match round-robin format.

5.) Thiem’s ATP Relief Fund Stance

The ATP Player Council, led by Novak Djokovic, revealed a proposal to generate over $4M with top players contributing to support lower-ranked players. Thiem was one player opposed to the funding, which he felt could be better spent elsewhere for people in greater need.
