Five Point Friday

Here’s your roundup of the five most interesting things I’m enjoying or thinking about this week.

1.) Pro Staff RF97 v13 [Full Review]

Wilson unveiled the Pro Staff v13 series of tennis racquets on Monday, which I’ve had a chance to hit with over the past two weeks. In my latest video, I review the RF97 and share my thoughts. I’ll have a full review of the Pro Staff 97 in the next few weeks – stay tuned.

2.) Do You Know Multifilaments?

Although polys heavily dominate the world of professional tennis, multifilaments and their unique comfort-oriented qualities remain popular. In my latest guide, I explore the topic of multifilaments, including their advantages, disadvantage, and my picks for the ten best.

3.) At Home With Miomir Kecmanovic

World #39, Miomir Kecmanovic, from Belgrade, Serbia, takes us back to his home to share his story, including a trip to the lake house his father built, some time at home family, and a few thoughts from former coaches.

4.) Roland Garros Wildcards

Andy Murray, Tsvetana Pironkova, and Eugenie Bouchard, with world rankings of #110, #156, and #167 respectively, have been awarded wild cards at French Open. Although Murray’s participation was expected, Prionkova is riding her success of a quarter-final visit at the US Open, and Bouchard a trip to the finals at the Istanbul Open.

5.) Italian Open Underway

Officially kicking off on Monday, Nadal stole headlines this week with his 6-1, 6-1 first-round win defeating Pablo Carreño Busta, who lost in the semi-finals of the US Open. Pablo’s likely still doing a bit of recouping and had little time to prep on clay ahead of the match, but significant in marks Nadal’s first win after seven months off.

If you have a moment, I’d love to hear your feedback. Which topic is your favorite? What would you like to see more or less of each week?

Share your thoughts in the comments below and have a great weekend.
