Hi Shatakshi
One of the technique I used that worked for me – this may be different with others. Also, tossing the ball has many aspects to it so you need get it to perfect one by one.
1. Toss with arm fully extended, elbow and wrist locked not loose, always toss the ball away from the palm – ball should leave the palm and not fingers – best way to check this is to ensure that the ball isn’t spinning when you toss up.
2. Your Toes positioning – should be pointing to the net pole (right side of the net pole) for both ends of serves (due and ad court)
3. Start your toss from the chest height or at the eye level, not earlier than that
4. Start swinging from left side of the hip while you toss into the court and right in front of your right shoulder.
5. For the above, try and imagine drawing a ‘V’ between your left hip and right hip – toss should drop in the middle of the V
6. There are lot of Youtube videos to help you improve your toss – alternatively, also try and get a private lesson that can fix some of the technique. If you aren’t a intermediate player, it will take little bit of hard work to get this perfected.Good Luck
