Five Point Friday

Here’s your roundup of the five most interesting things I’m enjoying or thinking about this week.

1.) Pro Staff 97 [Review & Playtest]

Last month, I reviewed Federer’s RF97 v13, so I’m following up with another review of the racquet’s younger sibling, the Pro Staff 97 v13. Unlike the RF97, it’s lighter and received a handful of upgrades to its specs and tech. Find out what I think about the racquet in my latest video.

2.) Krajinović’s Hot Shots

During his Vienna match against Novak Djokovic, fellow Serbian, Filip Krajinović, gave the world #1 a run for his money, bringing the first set to a tiebreak. Although Djokovic prevailed, Krajinović left us with a few memorable points, including one that received Djokovic’s bow of approval.

3.) Kiki Bertens Achilles Surgery

World #9, Kiki Bertens, who will finish the year inside the top 10 for the third straight year, underwent Achilles surgery, which will put her out through the start of 2021. It’s a serious surgery, so wishing her a speedy and successful recovery.

Some of you might know that I already had an Achilles injury for some time. The only possibility for me to play without pain again and get the maximum out of trainings and matches was to get a surgery. So that’s what I did now! I will miss the start of 2021, so unfortunately I won’t be competing in Australia. I will try my best to come back stronger as fast as I can ? can’t wait to see you guys on tour soon again!

4.) Fun Interview with ATP Players

Which player doesn’t stop talking, loves their Instagram too much, has the worst and best haircut, and is always late for practice? A handful of players answer a few lighthearted questions about fellow players on tour.

5.) Olympia Taking Lessons

Serena shared that she signed her daughter up for tennis lessons with someone who doesn’t know she’s her mom. Although Serena claims she’ll keep her distance during lessons, she said she’ll be keeping an eye on her daughter’s technique.

If you have a moment, I’d love to hear your feedback. Which topic is your favorite? What would you like to see more or less of each week?
