About the Data
I’ve worked hard to provide you with the most up-to-date and accurate information about the gear players are using. To compile the data, I’ve researched every player, scoring the internet and examining photos, but there are some guesses, so there are bound to be a few mistakes.
Furthermore, players regularly change sponsors, so what’s accurate today will undoubtedly change in the future. I’ll revisit this page regularly, but if you’re here and you spot a mistake or have a player you’d like me to add, I’d love to hear from you.

Endorsed vs. Actual Racquets
Reviewing the data, you’ll notice a column for each player’s endorsed and actual racquet. That’s because professional tennis players rarely play with the model you see when watching them live or on TV.
Instead, they typically use an older or different model from the same brand customized to meet their needs. The brands that sponsor players promote their latest model racquets by painting them to resemble the newest version, which isn’t always apparent to new players.
Older racquets no longer in mass production by manufacturers are called pro stock. Although readily available to sponsored athletes, they’re hard for the average player to get their hands on. You will find some niche websites selling them, but you’ll generally pay a premium.
