Hosted annually on the Mediterranean coast in Marseille, France, the Open 13 Provence is an ATP 250 tournament played on hard courts at the Palais des Sports de Marseille, a multi-purpose arena.
The event is one of five French tournaments on the ATP calendar, including the Roland Garros, the Open Sud de France, the Moselle Open, and the Lyon Open.
Since its first edition in 1993, the tournament has had six French champions, including Guy Forget, Fabrice Santoro, Arnaud Clement, Gilles Simon, Jo-Wilfried Tsonga, and Michael Llodra.
For 2024, the Open 13 Provence’s prize money reaches an all-time high of €724,015, which equates to $780,669 and £618,656 for a nominal 2.33% increase over last year and the highest ever offered by the tournament.
In singles, the tournament’s winner will take home €110,115, while the runner-up will pocket €64,240. Those are 2.3% increases over 2023 prize numbers.
Doubles teams at the 2024 Open 13 Provence will earn €38,260 and €20,470 for the winner and runner-up, which equates to 0.9% and 2.4% increases versus last February, respectively.
